Service Required E521 error: BTR 2 Error The input of 2nd BTR Retract Sensor does not change when 2nd BTR is initialized. There area couple of things that cause this problem. I would suggest you obtain a service manual from http://www.TheServiceManualShop.com If you don't see your manual listed, drop them a line to see if they can email it to you. Hope this helps

I had the same problem, I changed the photo conductor and it was ok.
I disassemble that part, all the bottom, I clean it with air, they were a lot of ink in, and after that, it works correctly.
Be careful not to touch the photo conductor with your finger, and avoid having strong light on it

This error refers to a thermistor error with your machine (assuming that you meant 923 error and not 123 error). Chances are that you will have to replace your fuser. Part number is: 56P2851.
To replace open the right side door (the one with the blue handle) and the lower door below it. Your fuser is the one with the 2 blue clips. Pull clips down and remove fuser. Replace fuser and push clips into locked (upright) position and that is it.
Hope that helps.
