ASSUMING... taking a lucky guess since no more details about the solution have been given: One pin in your "Projector to Laptop PC VGA port"has broken off. Thats why your screen is pink

    Kind Regards

I only need your help to solve a connection problem. I just purchased a video and microphone device. I am not getting sound from the mike. What slot do i connect the mike wire to?

Usually the cables are color coded. Green is the speakers and pink is the microphone. That's the colours you should have on the jacks ports on your PC. It should have a microphone image next to it as well.

I have a Dell Dimension DIM300. Where is the input for a two-pronged headset?

I guess you are referring to a Head phone and microphone set, with the cable splitting at the other end into two jacks. Most probably one a pink (or rose) colored one and the other green colored. Not necessary though, sometimes these two can be same color with indentation on the plastic surface to identify which one is Microphone and Headphone. If this is what the information you are looking for look on the back side of the computer. You will see three sockets in one column. If the computer is relatively new chances are that the surrounding area of these three jacks are also colored pink, green and blue. Match the pink jack to the pink (head phone) socket. Like wise green (ear phone) to green. Leave the blue one. If the computer is an old one, you may need a relatively close inspection. You may see a circle with an arrow going in to represent Mic and a circle with an arrow pointing outward to represent ear phone.

My LCD monitor turned Pink

The reason its pink is that the backlight bulb is on its last legs. They turn pink or reddish before they go out completely. Eventually the backlight will need to be replaced.

Please rate this fixya

thanks

Monitor screen with pink line

While I've never seen the stripe be pink, it's not impossible for it to appear that color. Your monitor is bad, and isn't easily or cheaply fixed.

Pink mark appear on screen and stays no matter what i am doing?

Unfortunately your screen is going bad. If it is under warranty have it replaced immediately. It will get nothing but worse. There are no viruses or setting in Windows that would cause such a problem. You may be able to minimize the distraction by right clicking on your desktop and going to settings and adjusting brightness, contrast, color, etc.
