Hey del valle, Most digital cameras come with a 1 year manufacturer’s warranty, and you could bring it to a Geek Squad® precinct in a Best Buy™ store and they should be able to send it out for service at no cost to you. I hope this helps! Sincerely, Allan Go Ahead. Use Us.
When an lcd screen breaks, you normally need to have the screen replaced. Most retail establishments that sell cameras will offer repair, but depending on the camera, it may very well be less costly to replace the camera. One example of a place you can bring the unit in to be fixed would be the Geek Squad® locations which are in your local Best Buy™ stores.
Hey chellz, You can most likely get the LCD screen on your camera replaced, but I will say that digital camera repairs often exceed the value of the camera. It wouldn't hurt to get an estimate done though. To get an estimate done you could bring it to a Geek Squad® precinct in a Best Buy™ store and they can send it out to get an estimate done. I hope this helps! Sincerely, Allan Go Ahead. Use Us.
Hey Kayla2007, According to the manufacturer these symptoms should mean your LCD screen is broken and it probably needs to be replaced. I would have the camera looked at by an authorized service technician. You of course could bring the camera to a Geek Squad® precinct in a Best Buy™ store and they can send it out to an authorized service center for you to get an estimate done. Sincerely, Allan Go Ahead. Use Us.
I would have it looked at by an authorized service center in your local area, and of course you can always bring it to a Geek Squad® precinct in a Best Buy™ store and have them look at it. I would not try forcing it open as this could cause additional damage to the camera.
I have this camera once you remove the case screws than when ever you seporate the case the door will come out. I repair these all the time and if I have on in stock it is only 25.00 to get it fixed. I beleave you can order one directly from kodak also.
