Question about Digital Concepts (1358W) 0.5x Lens Converter

Digital camera cord

Yes I bought a Digital Concepts digital camera about 6 months ago and I didn't have a computer at the time so I lost the cord that connects the camera to the computer. Now, I have a computer and I would like to bring my pictures up on my computer and print them. I have no idea what that cord is called or where I can find it.

Hey ILUVMADDY12,
I would purchase a card reader(that plugs into a usb port) for the type of memory card your camera uses, and then upload your images using the card reader instead of connecting the camera to your computer.

Sincerely,
Allan

Almost all early Quantaray lenses (and Sigma lenses, Sigma made Quantaray) in the Canon EOS mount will show error messages on Canon digital cameras (but still work fine on older EOS film cameras). usually err99 but err01 also. There is no DIY fix and Sigma ran out of update parts years ago. Current production lenses and Canon made lenses will not have this problem. This lens would only work for someone shooting EOS film cameras with no intention of "upgrading" their system to digital Canon cameras in the future.

Try rebooting the computer with it plugged in and if it does not work use your right click function on the drive and reboot it.

Do the older zoom lenses from the film cameras work with any of the newer digital cameras? I have 2 promaster lenses and didn't want to throw without checking.

In general, yes. The camera manufacturers did not change the lens mount when then went from film to digital, so as not to obsolete their own lenses. So if your lenses have a Nikon mount, for example, they will work on a Nikon digital camera.

It doesn't work with my digital camara

Some of the early Quantaray lenses, designed for the EOS film cameras, need to be upgraded by Quantaray. Contact your local Ritz Camera, or go to their support page online to find out if an upgrade chip is available for your particular lens, so it can be used with a digital EOS
