Generic problem for all Camcorders

Samsung VP D371 faulty firewire connection?

when i connect camcorder to laptop via firewire nothing happens. whenchecking the device manager there is an exclamation mark but a code 10error message saying the device cannot start. the device is displayedas 61883 Class Bus Device. any suggestions?

- i have a samsung vp d461b i also get the error message under 61883 class bus device in device manager. researched quite abit, tried windows patch, tried editing registry allowing full permission. nothing worked.- Guest
