Warming plate shattered has to be replaced

Brian Moore... hello,

Beautiful unit...

It appears that parts are abundant... sellers on eBay

- I always make a rule of going to AT LEAST three (3) parts providers... with SEARS PARTS DIRECT typically being the highest cost...(but they have an excellent technical reference library).

If you can get the ACTUAL PART number off of your original documentation... you will be able to COMMAND the very best prices

Happy hunting...

Rangemaster 110 on lpg wish to convert to natural gas

You must get a tradesman or technician who is qualified to convert a gas appliance, your local gas fitter or plumber should be able to help with this. the regulator needs to be changed the jets also need to be swapped out for the type of gas to be used. normally from lpg to Natural gas the jet size needs to be increased by installing new jets or by drilling out the old ones
Hope that helped

How old is it ? Does it have a warranty? Do you want to keep it?
If you like the appliance then yes but you will need a gas fitter to find the leak and fix it. How do you know it has a gas leak?

Rangemaster Disconnect the gas to move house

I dont know if your in the UK but if you do disconnect your gas feed the way MrMark has mentioned you will be breaking the law.. you'll need to be corgi registered to do it that way.

Again if you are in the UK, some gas supplies were fitted with a quick release system.

With this all you need to do is slide your cooker out, locate the connection at the wall, not the back of the stove.

Press down on the top of the connector and turn the pipe coming out about 1/4 of a turn and it will release and self seal the gas outlet.

I would follow these requirements if I were you:

The cooker must be connected to the correct electrical supply as stated on the voltage label on the cooker (This is obvious so far!). It should be connected through a suitable cooker control unit incorporating a double pole switch having a contact separation of at least 3mm in all poles (This means one of those big red switches with "COOKER" written on them). The cooker must NOT be connected to an ordinary domestic power point. The cable size used should be between 6mm squared and 10mm squared twin and earth. Where the installation is protected by a 30 milliamp sensitivity residual current device (RCD Breaker), the combined use of your cooker and other domestic appliances may occasionally cause nuisance tripping. In these instances, the cooker circuit may need to be protected by fitting a 100 milliamp device. This work should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
