Question about Vacuums
I have a Eureka "The Boss" vacuum that doesn’t seem to be sucking up as much as it should and did in the past when vacuuming on carpet and hard floor surfaces.
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure.
This could be because the vacuum has a clog or blockage, it may need a belt change every 4 to 6 months as recommended by the factory, sometimes the material you pickup on the carpet and bare floors will plug the pores of the inside if the paper bag or dirt cup filter, if the filter is clogged it looses the suction power or the bottom plate is not on properly or all of the above. These are some of the items to check when you lose suction.
