May need to run the aligment programs of the printer to re-align the cartidges back in line. Sometimes may have to do-it everytime that you load a new batch of paper.

Hi, Sounds like a paper jam. There's a flap at the back of the printer-once open you should be able to see if the paper is stuck there. (Exactly the problem I had yesterday-I didn't spot it at first and it nearly drove me mad! :) Good luck, Raf
does the problem exist if you try your old cartridge (just for a test)? if it doesn't, then you have a defective toner. Otherwise it is coincidental, and you need to replace the Drum unit.
