If you're using Windows click on Start, click on on turn off computer and then when the box pops uo click on restart. If this fixes your problem please rate this as fixed. If not, don't rate and add a comment saying you need more help. I'll be glad to help you further. Thanks.

I have cyberdefender registry cleaner on my pc. How do I get it off? It won't let me delete it.

Go to download a program called "Revo Uninstaller" run the installer. All of your installed programs show up in the main window, double click on the program you want to delete. It will ask you if you're sure, Choose the advanced button and click next. Revo will initiate the programs uninstaller, if the uninstaller fails, that is ok because Revo will then take over. No matter what, do not reboot the machine until Revo is done. Once the programs uninstaller is finished, Revo will then search for any left over files and registry settings, if will be show up to two additional screens with files. Select all and delete all that is shown, when Revo is finished, you can now reboot the machine and the program will be gone.

No shutting down

uninstall the program, go to and grab spybot, and AVG anti virus.

Once you have installed spybot, let it immunize your system, 100% do a full reboot, do it again, then do a system scan, quarantine everything. You will see a BUNCH of popup windows editing your registry, do not be alarmed, spybot is removing the hijacker programs from the registry(nothing in your registry should redirect your operating system except microsoft official programs that specifically say microsoft on them, in the microsoft directory trees, which are extremely long due to their own "big brother" techniques)

Now once SPYBOT is complete, immunize 2-3 times, to be sure, reboot, do it again, until nothing shows on the 2-3rd boot.

NOW your registry is somewhat functional. NEXT

Download AVG antivirus, do a FULL install, dont custom anything, unless you are a professional network engineer and know your Operating System 100%. Once installed, do a full system scan, it will show, most likely 2-3 items non critical, those are most likely web cookies/java cookies, that hijack, quarantine them. Then if more shows, quarantine them. REBOOT when it asks you to, if it doesnt, reboot anyhow, do it again. BAM BAM BAM!

I hate to tell people this concept, that rebooting helps the FREE programs go into your HIGH RAM BIOS at your system startup and intercept these rogue warez that surface.

Get your programs from and try them out, before you go to a website and use a suite program that says "we can fix it all!!!" Most likely, they are rogue ad-ware/spy-ware/hack-ware, under warez. uses no programs of the sort, and notify you if the program comes with it.

Long story here, but it should get you through the shutdown issue, if not, its time to overwrite your operating system registry with a fresh and clean unit(reinstall windows), or build a partition with your windows backed up in it, or last you can create a restore point for your windows and go back to when it worked.

Do what you can, within your tech knowledge, and tell me how it goes.

Installing flash player on windows xp

Go to Control Panel, Add/Remove programs, and remove any flash version you see.

Then reboot, go here, and install it manually. Close any open windows and don't use the computer while the install proceeds. Reboot after the installation.

I have had problems with my bluetooth feature on my laptop. It is a Toshibabt card installed, I have downloaded the drivers on the net, during the driver upload it requests for the device to be plugged...

Sometimes windows does not like canned installation programs. Try this, first use the control panel - add/remove programs and remove any programs the cd install for the card. Then use control panel - system - hardware - devices and (leave card in) uninstall the device. Reboot and when the system detects the device load only the drivers. Let windows manage the device. Prior to doing the above, run Msconfig - startup tab and disable all. Reboot and windows will start what it needs. U can go back in later and have the antivirus startup after U have the card installed.
Hope this helps.

Pictures and text are grainy and not clear on easyshare program--the monitor is clear on all other programs--what causes everything to be not clear on easyshare?

Hi geraldbell,

I haven't actually seen that problem before. Here's what I would suggest first:

1) Go to Add/Remove Programs and uninstall the EasyShare software. Reboot.

2) Go here to download the latest and greatest EasyShare.

3) Install that, reboot, and see if it helps.

If not, repost and I'll help you with the next step.
