Only half the screen displays on DVD player, Wharfedale WDP 1210

Is your DVD Player's model WDP1210 or WDP3397B.

If you are using one of these model I will strongly recommend to use AV output to a TV instead of using its LCD screen. If you get full picture at TV, You will isolate the matter that LCD module has problem. If so you can check with a local repair center. If you have any help regarding TV connection via external AV cable please post a follow up message

Hope it will help

Connecting portable dvd player to tv

    Hi,
You should be able to connect the portable DVD player to the TV using an audio/video (AV) cable. The type of A/V cable you need depends on the receptacles on the DVD and the TV. Some older units have only one jack for audio and one for video. Newer units have one jack for video and two for audio. Matching the color coding of the cable, plug one end into the A/V out jacks on the DVD player and the other end into the A/V in jacks on the TV. I hope this solves your problem.

Wharfedale DVD- 265 saying invalid disc

Check and see if there is dust or dirt or something on the lens. Dirt, grease and fingerprints will cause a DVD player to have read errors.
If it a new player, or under warranty, get it replaced. It sounds like it is failing.

    Hope that helped.

Need an AV lead for 9'' portable dvd player (dvd-265)but no part number in instruction manual

I'm only finding information on E-Bay and Google that indicates there is a 2 channel audio output but nothing listed for video output. What kind of connectors does the DVD player have on it? Are they mini jacks or RCA?
