you must have a password option too..never use a wabcam as a biometrical security device..u could use a fingerprint scanner..try to chnage the angle the camera sees you untill it unlocks

1st You download Webcam Driver.

After this install the Webcam driver in the system.
Installation of Webcam Driver
Go to the control panel
Click on the System Icon
Click on the Hardware Tab
Click on the Device Manager s
Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
Right click on it and uninstall it.
After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
Driver installation Wizard start.
Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
Driver will be install.

my pc is can't open webcam

The Web-cam driver software must be downloaded from the official site of Logitech. Once downloaded DO NOT CONNECT THE WEBCAM. but uninstall any web cam software within the PC. Now reinstall the printer software and Run, then connect the WEBCAM to be detected as a new hardware as it will be installed. Now open the WEBCAM properties and adjust.

Go in webcam prefferemce and watch is there any sleep or standby time made for your webcam . if yes then change it and put the time as you like .

If the laptop is new it will be under waranty. Did the shop you purchased the laptop from install the webcam? If so let them fix the problem, if not you may still have to take it back to them to get it installed properly, otherwise you may void the waranty.
