for using FixYa. This issue is related to the ballast, since it might not be sending enough voltage to the lamp
or it can be sending more than it should. And, that’s why TV is entering the
protection mode. Also make sure all the fans are working inside the TV and
there are no swollen/bilged capacitors on the power supply board. Due to these
capacitors the Power supply is not able to turn on the TV as the capacitors
overheat and cause the shutdown. You will need to check and replace them. Please
do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further
assistance. Thanks Rylee
hi it is good to be of service to you. it seems to be in your horizontal or power supply section. i would check these components: horizontal output transistor(h.o.t.), driver transformer( this drives your h.o.t.), leaky capacitor, a leaky component in the low voltage power supply, or a defective regulator transistor or diode. i know these are many things to check for, but with this type of problem it could be anything. i hope this has help to better solve your problem. be safe and please rate my solution. thank you
The issue may be related to the projection lamp in the TV and replacement may be required. However, before replacing the projection lamp in the TV, you may perform the troubleshooting steps mentioned below.
Please disconnect all the cables from the TV including the power cable then reconnect them after two minutes. Please make sure that the the power cable from the TV is directly connected to a functional wall outlet. Next, you may try connecting any other video source such as cable box, DVD player, Blu-Ray player, Playstation, etc. If the issue persists then try resetting the TV to the original factory settings.
Please follow the steps mentioned below to reset the TV to the original factory settings: (i) Turn the TV ON. (ii) Press and hold the Reset button on the Remote Control supplied with the TV, then press the Power button on the front panel of the TV. (iii) Next, release the Power button. The TV will turn itself off, then back ON. (iv) Release the Reset button.
If the issue persists then you may replace the projection lamp in the TV.
