Question about Pioneer Audio & Video Receivers

Open Question

I own a pioneer PD-F100. A part inside broke which loads the cd's. I opened it up and found the part that is broken and I need to order a new one. I'm not sure exactly what the name of the part is. I believe it is called the loading arm but I'm not sure. Can someone please help?

It is quite possible that one of the drive belts has come off its pulley.

Sound like laser assy defected in any case you need a Technician from Pioneer or they are trained by Pioneer is very complicated to remove the laser and replace it you need an osilloscope to aligment a new laser and special disc to do that. It might not worth to repair it, the laser itself a bout $110.00 Aus

Pioneer 101 disc cd changer PD-F907, all seem to work but won't play cd's any more

These models have a common problem with a lever that pops out of place and makes it so the disc's can not be loaded into the mech to be played. Take the top off the unit and look into the middle of it. You will see the actual cd mech that plays the disc. It has a white lever that has a knob on it and that knob may be out of place. It goes into a track on a black lever right below or next to the white lever. After it is put back into place, it should play fine.
