I have the same problem, I've just ordered a new power supply that will be dual voltage, you can find them on or similar. I'll see if it works just by switching out the power supply. We had the same thing happen to another appliance and it was only the power supply that needed to be changed out. Here's hoping.

Well your warranty won't cover it thats for sure. So with that bit of knowledge, locate your nearest console/modchip shop. They also do console repairs etc and should be able to repair or replace the power supply as long as the internals are ok apart from that.

I plugged 110 volts xbox 360 into 220 volts outlet. and it's dead. what will i do?

Unless the item has internal fuse, it is burned up.
Look for product manual.
Many times, there is a glass fuse rated for unit voltage.
Replace fuse.
Each fuse has specific markings.

I plugged in my US Wii into a 240V wall socket without a converter, i heard and felt the adapter box pop, not good! i see online they sell universal wii ac adapters that input 110-240V is this the kind I...

Yes, 110-240V lets your Wii get power anywhere in the world. Make sure to check if your Wii still works because the 240V wall socket may have fried your Wii.

I have bought a wii in us. i brought it to india, bought a plug, and tried it but i think it got shocked help

In case you brought it from US and didn't use a manual stabilizer to bring down the voltage to 110 and plugged it in India in that case the power supply for the wii is blown and you would need to get it repaired because in India the voltage used is 220 V as compared to US and some other countries where the voltage is much less than 220V.

I Accidentally Plugged My Xbox 360 into a 220 v socket can i still fix my power supply

Ah that sounds dangerous. Well technically everything can be fixed, but it would be easier and probably cheaper to just buy a new one.

Got an old tv for free with aerial socket. can I input my sons wii into it?

Hi, yes you can, you will have to go to Wal-Mart or Radio Shack and buy a RF adapter and it will allow you to plug the Wii into that and then plug it into the antenna socket on the T.V.

Wii power source probably broken

Plug something else into the adapter to make sure it works, if it works you may have blown the Wii's fuse which will need repair.

What will happen if it is plugged into a 220 volt AC

Hi there, it depends where you got your Wii from.

if your Wii was from japan or another country which uses only a 110v AC power supply then you could have either blown some fuses inside the wii or at worse you could have fried some of the internals.

First of all find out which adapter you where supplied with, check the voltage rating on the adaptor. if it is a 110v adaptor then you may need to have your Wii replaced.

Hope this helps

110 volt usa xbox 360 to work in a 220volt country

The first possibility is that it was simply a faulty transformer, however the more lilkey problem is the transformer was not of a sufficient power to run the Xbox 360, you need to make sure that you buy a transformer that can supply at least 300w of power as this is what the xbox 360 requires, some cheaper models may have difficulty with this.

Wii Poer voltage Damage

The problem is that the voltage in NZ is different (higher) than that of the USA, and the power adapter (gray box that plugs into the wall) has blown. Replace the power adapter and use a voltage converter that lowers the power to 115 (or 110/120) volts, and you should be good to go. ;)
