Panasonic NV GS150 drop out autofocus

I got a Panasonic NV GS150 and it has this annoying problem when it's on auto-focusing mode, and when zooming out to the furthest - while it's fixed and clear... ALL of a sudden the focus drop out. WHY is that so? I also got my friend's Panasonic NV GS150 and position it exact same mode/and furthest and no drop out. WHY is that so?

- Same situation here. I see sometimes focus dropouts without zooming orfast moves. The camera has a sharp image and suddenly starts focusingaround!!! Very annoying!!! - Guest

- I have had the same problem, particularly if the light level is low, Manual focussing is one way around it but that is a very annoying solution, because you keep forgetting to switch the camera back to autofocus and the next time you use the camera you spoil the best of the action you were racing to get. Poor marks, Panasonic.- ronhills
