Question about ViewSonic VE175b 17" LCD Monitor
I have a ViewSonic VE175b that is not powering on. Is there anything I can do to repair it?
Do you live on the second storey or higher? Couldn't resist. =)
It will probably be the capacitors on the main powerboard inside the monitor. Its a common fault with these and is easy to get repaired.
Unless you have fairly good electronics knowledge though you are best to take it to your local TV repair shop. The voltage inside reaches points far higher then even what you have in the wall sockets of your home.
The repair should not be expensive in any case. Call around and get a few quotes, also check who will service an LCD in your area, some will some wont.
Hope that helps =)

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
