What do you think the problem is as to why my ipod want load up,i keep getting the message ipod communication aborted.

bad receiver in the radio, or, the transmitter on the ipod is bad. try it on another bluetooth source to see if it maintains connection, if not, the ipod could be damaged or bad. If it works with another bluetooth source unit, then the radio has a bluetooth receiver issue.

Connecting an iPod Without a Car Stereo

<p>Newer cars often come with adapters to connect an iPod to a car radio, but you can still listen to your favorite lists, if you do not have a car stereo at all. Portable electronics can be used to connect the iPod to speakers, and play it on your car. <br /> <p><br /> <p>1. Purchase an adapter FM radio transmitter for your iPod. It will stream music from your iPod to a low-frequency power, which can be captured by a radio in your car. For best results, use a transmitter with a power adapter 12 volts, you can power adapter car "cigarette lighter" power outlet instead of batteries. <br /> <p><br /> <p>2. Place a "boom box" radio in your car stereo. For purposes of the iPod, the older model, if you have done. All you need is a working radio and decent speakers. Again, it is best if you turn the car to avoid the use of batteries. <br /> <p><br /> <p>3. Set your transmitter to a radio frequency is not used in the stereo field, and tune the same frequency. Adjust the volume on the stereo halfway. <br /> <p><br /> <p>4. Place your iPod within reach of the driver or passenger. When the iPod is playing, the sound will be transmitted to the radio. You can adjust the volume on the iPod itself to control the music changing. When the iPod is off, the radios go silent, although you will hear a static noise. Turn on the radio to get rid of noise, and to save battery when not running the car's power. <br />

Alpine Ipod Interface Not Working Correctly

Sometimes those 3.5 mm stereo connectors don't work right. If a little wiggling and unplugging/replugging does not restore the sound there may be a connector that is defective

Change and/or set the presets

Took some doing but here is the link: http://logitech-en-amr.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/logitech_en_amr.cfg/php/enduser/popup_adp.php?p_faqid=5513&p_sid=ZMS7-Oqj&p_lva=&p_li=&p_sp=cF9zcmNoPTEmcF9zb3J0X2J5PSZwX2dyaWRzb3J0PSZwX3Jvd19jbnQ9NDU3LDQ1NyZwX3Byb2RzPSZwX2NhdHM9JnBfcHY9JnBfY3Y9JnBfcGFnZT0xJnBfc2VhcmNoX3RleHQ9bWFudWFs and I fell across it somehow and have tried to figure it out but I can't because it opened in a new window. I think I was viewing another audio + ipod speaker system and I think I clicked on troubleshooting and I think I put audiostation in somewhere and I then I saw manuals for audiostation. NOT EASY TO FIND.
