Can Hitachi VM e360e playback hi8 tapes recorded on hi8 camcorder?

Nope. hi8 was newer technology. hi8 camcorder could play older 8mm videos but not vice-versa. hi8 video has higher resolution then older 8mm

How to replace a CCD Image Chip in a Hitachi DZ-BX31E camcorder

Firstly, I think this is a condition where the expression 'contains no user-serviceable parts' pertains.
Secondly, even if you could source the correct CCD sensor (and are you sure it is that which needs replacing ?), any attempt would stand a less than 50% chance of success due to one important factor - lack of experience in these matters.
I feel that the only possible way forward is to take it to a reputable repair facility, where a qualified artificer could examine it and advise you as to the viability of repair. This may be cost prohibitive, and you may need to replace the camcorder.

Trying to buy a battery pack (VM BPL13) for Hitachi VM D865LE

Found the handbook / manual which gives the exact reference number for the battery required. Thanks for the help. Perhaps your home page could make it clear that you do not offer a 'free' service. The gratis assistance comes from the 'community' which seems to me to be non-existant!!

Hitachi DVD camcorder

The door might be stuck. Try "helping" it open manually after pressing the eject button. Otherwise, something is probably broken and you might have to call a repairman.
