Was in a recent front end accident, got the Tahoe fixed ever since then AC is not working only blows hot air. Heat works fine though.
You may have damage to the condensor, this is common lots of shops dont check it,i would call your insurance co. and tell them, you may have a hole in the condensor and all the feron may have leaked out, or have the body shop check it, the shop who repaired it, the condensor sits in the front of truck behind radiator and bumper,
Chances are you got it fixed in the winter and they didnt think to check your A/C condenser. The Condenser sits next to or in front of the radiator cooling unit. THey get punctured and leak freon. The heat being blown is indiciative that your blower and control unit is fine. If the repair was done by a reputable body shop or the dealer they should have checked it. If they havent checked it then they failed to do their job properly and you should have it reviewed. A lot of times they will see the radiator is undamaged and overlook the condenser. Take it aback to the dealer and have it reviewed. Tell them to specifically check the condenser unit

Thank you guys for the respones...I actually did get that checked out and the condensor is fine and it currently has freon. I found a wire that seems to have gotten cut somehow and cant find where it should be attached to...took it back to the body shop and he couldnt find the other end either. He is sending me to some other place but I'm trying to avoid any excessive fees. Could a cut wire cause this problem?
