We recently connected a Philips VHS Video recorder to our tv but cannot get any colour only black and white. Would you please advise us on how to remedy this problem as soon a possible.

Are you using a device made for PAL regions in an NTIS regions, or vice versa? Are your menu settings set for progressive scan while using a non-progressive scan TV?
