Question about Computers & Internet
Hello, im dessa
and i just want to ask if how to open my limewire after i downloaded it. Because when i double clicked the limewire file in my desktop, i cannot open it instead, it will say..
"these files are used by the operating system and by various programs. Editing or modifying them could damage your system.
If you still want to open this file, click OPEN WITH, otherwise, click cancel"
and thats how it goes up.Pls help me what to click and what to do regarding this problem.
thank you! very much more power!
It's not clear in your post exactly what file you are referring to.
Have you just downloaded the Limewire program, and are trying to install it? If so, it sounds as if the download is corrupted. Try downloading it again. You can get it here from the official website.
If on the other hand you already have Limewire installed and the file that will not open is something you have downloaded with the program, DELETE IT IMMEDIATELY.
Viruses and other nasties can be hidden with innocent looking files. The fact that it is warning you about operating system files and potential damage should set alarm bells ringing!
Try getting the file again from a different source.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
