If you've just installed it and it doesn't work, make sure that the ballast is rated for the power you're giving it. If you put 277v to the 120v taps, you've cooked it and the unit will have to be replaced. If you put 120v to the 277v taps, it will probably still work if you take it apart and wire it the correct way.
Otherwise, check all connections within the unit (even the ones you didn't make).

How to program ct 68a remote

Text from manual below. Pictures of manual attached.

TO"LEARN" A FIX CODE PROGRAM FROM ANOTHER UNIT:
1. Press and hold both buttons (1 & 2) on the SPR. The LED will flash three times. Keep holding {for about five
seconds) until the LED flashes again (twice), indicating that it's ready to duplicate your garage door opener's
code. Release both buttons (Fig. 1 ).
2. Place your existing garage door remote and the SPR unit within an inch of each other. Press and hold the
first button on the existing unit while pressing button 1 on the SPR unit. The LED will flash, indicating that it
is learning. Keep holding the buttons until the LED light goes out. At this point, the SPR unit has duplicated
the code (Fig. 2).
3. Follow Step 2 to duplicate another code.
4. Exit the learning mode after duplicating codes by pressing and holding both buttons on the SPR unit. The
LED will flash once to indicate that you have exited learning mode. Examine the unit to see if your codes
were duplicated completely.

TO EXAMINE CODES:
If the remote is programmed correctly, the LED stays lit while the button is pressed.
If code duplication has failed, the LED will flash when the button is pressed. Follow Step 1 again if duplication
has failed.

TO LEARN GENIE ROLLING CODES:
Genie rolling codes require special additional instructions to program. Once step 1 through step 4 of the Fixed Code
Instructions are completed, you must do the following:
A. Pra•ce the SPR on the top surface near the rear of the original Genie
Remote instead of setting the two units side by side during Step 2 of the
Fixed Code Instruction; shown as Fig. 3
B: Press the Learn Code Button on the Genie Unit. The LED on it will keep
flashing.
C: Press the program button on the SPR. The LED on the Genie Unit will stop
flashing and become a solid glow
D: Press the same button on the SPR for the second time- turning off the
LED light on Genie Unit and finish the Genie Code Duplication.
E: Follow the EXAMINE CODE section of the fixed code instruction to test code duplication.
F. Follow the above steps if you wish to duplicate another Genie Code on your SPR.
NOTE:
If the first time you only programmed one button on your SPR, and you would like to program the second button later
on, either with FIXED CODE or GENIE ROLLING CODE, you will have to REPEAT step one of the fixed code
instruction to enter the leaning mode; then follow the instruction listed previously. After duplication, you will have to
repeat step 4 of the fixed code instruction for exit learning mode as well. This is very important.

We need battery (only) operated exit lights. Do you know if such a thing exists? We are required to install lit exit signs in a storage building we own, but the building does not have electrical power.

Yes. They do have lighted exit signs that require no electricity. Here is a website I found that has some.

Put new batteries in exit signs but the status light wont stay on green...it will switch back to a constant red meaning charging. What would be bringing the power of a new battery down all the time?

is the unit battery only or battery backup? if battery backup, the system is draining the batteries as it has no source of power.. if battery only there may be a connection problem or a faulty unit.

Hi,
try this if you need the manual let me know. (PLEASE rate if it was helpful)
If you are programming the remote for a brand/model that is
not listed in the Popular Brand List or the Direct Code Entry
(e.g. Wharfedale, Acoustic Solutions etc), it is recommended
that you use the Learning Mode (go to section 4).
Follow the steps below to program your remote using the
learning function.
1. Press and hold the device key you wish to learn for 3 secs.
The LED turns ON when the key is pressed but turns OFF
after 3 secs indicating that the key can be released.
2. Release the Device key, LED turns back ON.
3. Press and release the RECORD key, the LED turns off
when the key is pressed and turns on after release, the
remote is now in the learning mode.
4. Press and release the key on the RC050 that you want to
learn to, the LED will blink once and then remain ON with a
lower brightness to indicate it is ready to learn.
5. Face the head of RC050 to the head of your original
remote control, leaving a gap of 5cm (2”).
6. Now press and hold the original remote key (the teaching
key), do not release this key until the LED on the RC050
this indicates an error. Repeat steps 4-6 to correct the
error.
7. LED remains on, repeat steps 4-6 for other key functions to
be learned.
8. Press and release EXIT key to exit learning mode at any
time, the LED turns off.
9. If no keys are pressed for more than 15 secs while in
this mode, the remote exits the mode and the LED turns
OFF
good luck

Test on rear EXIT sign in rear exit of boiler room.

The red LED backup should come on when the regular light goes out. Maybe the battery has not charged up yet, or is defective.
