Question about Dell Celeron, 300 MHz (2997D) Processor Upgrade
My computer is very slow and it freezes on me. I scan for viruses and adwares and spy wares everyday. A friend says that I need to increase the memory from 256 to about 1G. How can I go about this?
You have not mentioned whether it is a laptop or a PC.
If it is a PC when you open it you will have slots for your RAM cards. They would be on the mother board. You can remove them and then take them to a nearest hardware store and can ask for another 256 MB or directly can take 1 GB if your motherboards supports 1 Gb.
If you are not sure where the RAM is...then better surf the net to see RAM pictures...
If it is a laptop then the same way but you would have the slot at the back of the laptop...
