Shalomodoo,
This product is designed to run on the following operating systems:

  • Windows NT 4
  • Windows 98
  • Windows 95
If you are using other than these OS it might cause problem.
  1. Try to uninstall then re-boot
  2. Make re-install.
  3. if the above steps does not fix problem, then call the vender for your OS support.

Thanks

I would recommend you attempt to first remove your model software from the pc, first make sure you have the cd / or other drivers for it.

when you have all that removed. Reinstall the software.

That should get rid of the error messages.

Let me know how it goes.

Thank you,
Ekse

You might have another part that has gone bad. Check the RAM and see if it gives you any problems.

There is a program call mem test that you can burn to a CD and test your memory. But if your no longer able to get to the bios:
you def had a hardware problem.

Your computer is a good one, so is Roxio a good software. but it seems like a compatability problem. Roxio likes Vista, but does windows like Roxio? I would run a compatability test, windows will do it free.

Returning To The Original Operating State

you may find that you have two partitions on your hard drive showing as a seperate drive in my computer, here there is normally a backup of your pc's initial setup.

There should be a wizard somewhere on your programme files to help you with the backup restoration process, but make sure you save anything important to a cdrom before you start as the system will be completely formatted and installed as new.

Data Transfer from hard dick.

fadec,
Unfortunately, this doesn't sound like a good situation, or exactly what you want to hear. It sounds like there was some corruption to a program file as it was copied to the CD during backup. That is pretty well confirmed by the fact that you can't access the data from either the CD or the copy of the CD.
About the only thing that I can suggest is to try to obtain an original copy of the program that you are using and load that. Then try to access the individual data files through the newly loaded program. You may have to copy them into the program for this access.
If the data is worth it, you might be able to contact a company that specializes in data recovery. I've never had to use one, but my understanding is that they are quite expensive. If you want me to research those costs, please let me know.
I might also suggest that you attempt to recover what the company that did this for you (to you!) charged you for the copying service. They apparently didn't do you any favors and should refund the amount to you.
Please don't beat me up on my rating just because There is no way to easily recover this data.... ;o)
Sorry, I wish there was a better answer to give you.
