SOURCE: zanussi error e20 then ele
Somebody suggested to me that there is a condensation tray at the back that has become blocked. He said to take the back of the washing machine off and at the bottm right hand corner there is the condensation tray. This will need de-fluffing!! I haven't tried it yet but am also looking for answers!! Let me know if you come across any other info. Pete

Error E20 means the machine has failed to pump out. 1st check the filter at the bottom right hand side there may still be water inside if so pull the grey tab to the left of the filter there should be a thin hose extend it put it into a shallow dish and pull the cap off to let the water drain this may be a slow process. When the filters out look into the hole with a torch to see if any obstructions in the pump impeller this looks like a cross. If the filters and pump are clear it may be the pump has failed.

E20 is "A problem with water draining"
The drain hose may be squashed or kinked
the drain pump may be blocked
or possible your filter is totally blocked. Clean out the filter everything will work again. Put a large bowl under the filter as you unscrew it; a fair amount of water could be there.
Good luck. Please rate the solution if accepted, also do post comments in case of any doubts.

I have taken out the filter and washed it thoroughly! Also flushed the out pipe to make sure the whole system was clean. This resolved the problem

Tips for a great answer:

This means that the filter is clogged. Unscrew the filter it'll be full of lint. E20 also means drain problem. If it actually goes through the Spin cycle then there is most likely some water still not drained out at the time of the tumble dry. Check the drain and the hose to make sure it isn't clogged.
