The code number should be listed in the manual sheet for the remote control, or from the Samsung web site. If not found, a new OEM remote for the Philips TV is available from Amazon for $21.
Pacific TV - Press "SET" and Hold it, press "TV" and release it, then release "SET", then type one of these codes 0676, 0677, 0678 or 0679. After each code try powering off the TV using the remote. One should work. (I think the 2nd one worked for me).
