Dropped foreign object into corner opening

I have a Roper RAB4232EW1 top-loading washing machine.
While wiping down the crevices and corners around the "big ring" (at the top of the drum), I accidentally dropped a wet paper towel into an opening in the  front right corner.  Are there any mechanisms in the space between the drum and the inner cabinet wall that this foreign object might harm?

THANKS!

It will dissolve away, as long as it's a paper towel

No you can lean the machine backwards and should be able to remove it with out any disasembling of the unit, if it did not fall all the way to the bottom and you can not remove it it will not hurt anything

HOW DO I REMOVE TOP AND SIDES OF A ROPER TOP LOAD DISHWASHER, RAS8245EQ1

STEP ONE DISCONNECT ELECTRICAL AND GAS LINE AFTER SHUTTING GAS SUPPLY LINE VALVE!!!!!!
Tops are ususally held down with spring clips near the front corners on the sides. pull gently upward while insetring a putty knife from the side in the groove between the top and the sides. The idea is to compress the clip to release the top. when the top swings up it's usually held to the back with insert clips that form a hinge when seated in their slot. when you lif, slide the top forward and it should come free. Watch out for the wires.

Roper washer will fill up with water and wont stop. What could be wrong?

The air hose from the tub to the pressure switch (inside the control panel) is either disconnected or plugged with debris. Open the control panel by removing 2 screws in the front corners and check for disconnected hose. Otherwise disconnect the hose and blow through it to see if it is plugged.

I have a roper rtw4340sqo when it gets to the spin

Hiya,
if it was not spinning & then started again after you tilted it & set it back down i would suspect maybe a foregn object of some sort was stopping it & by tilting the machine you have dislodged it from where ever it was trapped most common cause is a coin or could be a loose screw dropped out from somewere.. you could check the filters if you have any to see if it has worked its way there if not i would leave it till it happens again then see if you can locate anything.. often tilting the machine will dislodge any objects making them fall to the bottom & preventing them causing the same problem again..

Hope this helps

Lidswitch

To access the lid switch, REMOVE POWER, lift the console by one of three ways.
1. Look in the back of the console, in each corner there will be a screw, unscrew until the console can be pushed forward.
2. The trim on either side can be pried off from the top, grasp and pull forward to expose to expose a screw.
3. insert a putty knife under each corner, push to release a latch. With console lifted:

1. You will find a lid switch connector (white or gray in color). Unplug the switch from the connector.

2. There will be two brass colored clips. Place a flat blade screwdriver straight down into the opening on top of the washer and into the groove of the clip. Push the screwdriver down and away from you and the clip will release.

3. Open the lid of the washer and place your hand under the front rim of the opening (DO NOT grab the wash tub). Tilt and slide cabinet forward to remove.

Creda IWD12 filter.

As far as I remember it goes like this.
take the filter in your hand and turn the knob counter clock wise intill it almost comes off. Then gently shuff it into the filter hole. Push it in as far as you can and than tighten it again.
