Hi, I just recently accqured a DUAL 1019 and the stylus is missing. what aftermarket stylus [part number] shall i look for replacements?

The manual for the TT is available for free at http://www.vinylengine.com after you register.

If you can identify the cartridge, the stylus could be identified and found for you.

They were typically equipped with a Shure cartridges. Nearly 40+ years later they might not be available but there are lots of compatible replacement cartridges.

Just Google "shure cartridge".

It's hard to tell what would be the solution, until you figure out what is causing the short. It might be easier to send it to Shure for repairs.

The mute / off switch on my shure sm58 is broken. Is it easy to change please

Yes it is relatively easy. First try to get the part from Shure. If you are not comfortable repairing this, check with a local shop and ask how much they would charge you. A replacement mic should not cost any more than about $95 so be careful no to spend too much for the repair. You can also check with Shure on their repair cost.

Shure wireless headset microphone

The most likely problem is a bad connection between the jack and the internal PC board. If you can solder, you may be able to resolve this yourself. Be careful NOT to alter any of the internal coils. Try resoldering the connector and update this if that fails to resolve the problem.
