Question about Toshiba Tecra A5-S416 Notebook
My dell d600 was working alright but goes off suddenly and i am never able to switch it on. I had issues with the battery ( less backup and flashing orange light) but laptop working alright. Now when i try switching it on without battery only the orange light comes up and fades off. With battery in and no ac adapter same happens. With both battery and ac in green and orange battery light flashes but not able to switch on. If its a motherboard problem then plz tell me how to make sure before buying a new one and also that do i need to buy the processor also? What motherboards are compatible? Please help.
Check to see if the charger has current flowing. maybe the charger not charging the battery.
get hold of a voltage tester hold the black end on the outter round part stick the rred end in the middle place it on the male prong you should get a 19v reading.anything like 14v 10v or loweer can charge the battery.if you get a19v 18.blah v reading then you need a motherboard repair or replacement
if so get one cheap on ebay
