Question about Televison & Video
We have a RCA XL100 Commercial Skip and it just blipped out today. Upon removing the back, we found a blown fuse near the power cord. We have replaced it twice and both times, as soon as the cord is plugged in, the fuse blows. What is causing this, how can it be fixed, or is it scrap now?

The power supply or one of the circuits that it is feeding has a short in it. It may be able to be serviced by someone who knows the product and is experienced at working on the model you have. There may be a question about parts availability for it.
You can call RCA to find out who the authorized service rep is for your area. This is something that most small TV service stores may not be able to repair.
Ask for an estimate before approving service. The repair for your unit may be expensive.
