SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I have a ti-89, but my professor is using a ti-83. the ti-83 has a "stat" button, what would that be on the ti-89?

I meant what are you trying to do? There is not a stat button (that I know of) on the TI 89, but I can guarantee you that there is a way to do what you want to.

Can you Factor on a TI-84? IF not, does the TI-89?

Well, to answer part of your question, yes... the TI-89 does factor like this. it is inputted like this:

factor(6*x^2+11*x+4,x)

Check the catalog in the TI-84 (which is 2nd-zero) and look under F for factor()

My TI-89 Dies out fast

If you download games and some third party software can be running all the time draining your batteries. Some of the APPS with Ti 84 will do the same thing. I'd try and find the problem software and delete it.
