Yes you need to return it because if you using dial up internet you cannot satisfied the output of the tv because of slow connection. If the company does not allow you return you better to upgrade your connection to the dsl to solve the problem

Tip

Keep Your New PC In Top Shape....For Free!!!

The following tip is for everyone who is currently paying too much for their basic computer software!

Most PC users tell me how they just hate to spend their money each year on subscriptions to firewalls, anti-virus, and anti-spyware programs. Throw in a little more money up front for an office suit or photo editing software and you are looking at around $500 for the first year of ownership and around $100 in upgrades/update fees each year after!

Most folks don't know that with a little time and effort they can keep have their new system in good running order for zero dollars! Below are my list of must haves for your new shiny life hub!

1. AVG Free - Sleek and up to date anti virus program allows users most of the same features the expensive subscription based programs for free!

2. Ad-Aware Free - Great tool for anything AVG Free won't find. Specifically searches out for Spyware and other undesirables in your system for the cost of a breath of air.

3. CCleaner - Removes all the old junk on your system such as: trash, internet history, deleted files, and even has a handy start up manager, registry cleaner and add/remove programs application. Regular updates and also free.

4. Defraggler - I feel a sleeker, faster fragmenting tool for all of your attached drives, which is updated every month or so. Free from the makers of CCleaner.

5. Open Office - A free, MS Office like software suite that includes a Word Processor, Spread Sheet, and Presentation program. Updated regularly and has most of the same features the paid for suites have. For those of us who simply create documents this is a must have! Why spend $100's just to write a letter!

6. Gimp - Free image editor that is both powerful and easy to use.

Each of the above programs aside from being free are updated constantly and come with a ton of online based documentation and instructions for use. So delete all that bloatware that comes installed on your machine and simply run the Anti Virus, Anti Spyware, CClaner, and Defraggler once a month and your system will keep purring along for years to come!

I have a Toshiba TV/VCR/DVD combo, remote WC-FN2. I can turn the TV on,change volume but can not change channels. Help! Thanks,

Some tv remotes will do this if the TV is programmed to skip all but one channel (or the last scan for channels had only one active channel - like a tv connected to a set top box (3,4,60)).

See if you can navigate to other channels by typing in a channel number. Also check if the Tuner is the current source of the video signal by pressing the Source or Input button. If you have a menu button on the TV or the remote, try rescanning channels or editing the channel list.

I hope this helps.

HAW PLUGIN PC TO THE PANASONIC PLAZMA th-42PD25

hi,

you may have to get a new dvi video card for that old dell. video cards arent that expensive and are easy to install. take a picture of the port on tv and computer and take it to the the computer store. you may run into some performance issues running that old tower.. make sure you have enough RAM, 512 at least
download and run an all in one computer diagnosis and repair program such as "advance system care free" at www.majorgeeks.com.. run disk cleanup and then defragment in start/all programs/accessories/system tools. it will help it keep up with the tv..

good luck

Here is a test for it. Go to the start button > programs > accessories > system tools > disc defragmenter. Run a defragmentation on "C" drive and see if you can hear a lot of clicking, Normal hard drive activity will sound like rapid fires clicks but should not be incredibly louder than you are used to. If there has been an increase in the volume of the clicking sound that is out of the ordinary, then I would guess that the read/write head on the hard drive is starting to fail. and that sound you hear may be it slamming itsefl back oand forth as it is reading the discs. I would venture to say that having a bootable backup may be in order or at least an external or flash drive to save your documents, pictures, music...etc.

Not to computer saavy so please keep it simple. I have a Sony Vaio VGC RA840G desktop with 5.1 surround sound. Also have a Samsung LN46A850 S1F HDTV. Also a home theater system. This is hooked up to cable...

From the looks of the TV manual you have everything right, so it's very odd you're running into this problem.

Have you tried swapping through the sources? I find with one of the TVs we have on display at work that any time I'm having some troubles with it I will change the source from PC to something else, then back to PC.

If that doesn't work then I'd suggest you try reseting the sound settings back to factory default. The instructions are on page 45 of the TV manual. From the TV menu select "Sound", then "Sound Reset", then either "Reset All" or "Reset Sound Mode". I would suggest reseting all.

Last option would be to try using the headphone jack in the side of the TV, though this is a last resort kind of thing since you would have to unplug it every time you wanted to use the cable box.

Hope this helps :)

My friend and I both use Yahoo Messenger with cameras attached so that we can both see and communicate with each other. However, his camera picture almost always freezes sometime during our communication....

You may have too many programs running in the background reduce your system's resources which is causing the problem.

The biggest reason web cams freeze up is because of your internet connection speed, if you are using Dial up it will happen a lot especially when your Internet Service Provider gets real busy and there is a lot of traffic. I never have that problem on since I am on Broad Band
