Why does the Mouse keeps freezing? I have to reboot all the time. Mouse will work fine for awhile, but if it gets into the outer margins, it's gone

The touch pad might be faulty. Try to reboot the laptop after cleaning touch pad with a clean damp cloth. If nothing happens then the sensors under the touch pad could be faulty.

Try another mouse.

Try removing the driver which you have for the mouse and restart the computer.
If that doesn't help, check the batteries in the mouse.

Try to get a normal mouse in a shop, cheap and with no install of drivers or use your friends, then try to run chkdsk from the computer with the new mouse, normally you find it here :
start- my computer- c:- right click and then choose properties (the last one on the menu), then select the second tab and then select the first choose (check drives for errors) check all the possibilities and press ok to restart the computer, and see id it is gone now after it has run.
IF NOT then you need to reinstall your mouse driver, you can try in the first place to reinstall it above the old installed files with the provided cd rom. If it not works you need to remove the installation for the mouse, you can find it in "add and remove" programs in "control panel" and the reboot the computer and then reinstall the driver
If it is a plug and play mouse (that means you do not have any drivers installation, widows did install it by itself), then you need to plug the mouse in go to, start- control panel- administration-computeradministration- then choose the computer icon ( I do not know the name in English, because I use the danish version), but there you can see all the hardware on the computer, there you choose the mouse and find your mouse and then right click on the mouse and choose remove. after that you have to reboot the computer and then connect it again and then it should work

IF the above is not working I suggest to reinstall the operating system Windows, but before that then make sure to save all your documents and pictures etc, because it delete all the content

Check that nothing is blocking the laser if your mouse has one. Even a hair can cause it not to function properly. Download and re-install a custom driver for whatever brand of mouse you have. Try the mouse in another system and see if it does it there.

Have you tried changing batteries?
or check the current drivers.

there is a problem with the RAM, take it out and reseat it firmly, also clear the CMOS too (you have to reset the time and date if you clear the CMOS)

i just got the bluetooth keyboard and mouse but i dont know how to get them to work. can any body help?
