Question about Audio Players & Recorders
It is probably an optics problem causing you symptom. Does the machine consistanly not play the any discs, or just particular discs. Either the lens is dirty, or you have an failure occurring in the optic block. CD lens cleaner discs are generally a waste of time, so I would suggest that you remove the lid, and clean the laser lens. with a cotton bud moistened with windex, then gently polish off with a dry one to be sure no smears are left behind. See how this goes. The other common problem with not playing discs is a lazy spindle motor, identified by the disc atempting to spin, but not getting up to speed. Try cleaning the lens first, and let me know if you still have problems.
