Question about Lexmark X1270 All-In-One InkJet Printer
My scanner will not handle 45 rpm records with a orange or red color of and depth to it. They allways come out blurry! I have tried lessening the quality of the pics so don't give me that! Also, with the dark blues, when the record has a ridge in the vinyl under the label which most older records do, the label appears to have a ring wear! the only thing I have been able to do is contrast the **** out of it, and then darken it a bit to it's normal darkness or lightness again. But this changes the color greatly and I have to explain all the time about these problems on ebay in my descriptions. Am I missing a trick that will take care of these two major problems, or is my scanner just limited, and that is that?
Scanners (or copiers) can't improve on the image they are seeing.
If you view the labels under a bright light, you will see what the scanner is seeing too.
The only thing you can do is as you already have, use a photo editor to correct those cosmetic flaws before printing.
