Plug in your iPhone to the computer, and then go into My Computer/Computer and open the iPhone drive that appears. Keep going down into the folders until you see your pictures, and then just copy and paste them onto your computer. You could also email them to yourself and save them that way.
you can do that by putting all your pictures on to a flash drive?junk drive then put it into the usb port on your computer it should tell you to Load Pictures or Load files do that and you have all of your pictures on to your laptop
Go to the acer site, they have the software. I assume you had everything on the old hard drive. Load windows onto your new hard drive. It will detect all your hardware. Actually, since you changed hardware, it no longer is an aspire 3000. I changed out all my stuff in my acer aspire to keep it up to date. The only thing left is the box. As you change hardware the motherboard will detect and adapt. You may still see the aspire logo as it is burned into the bios.
Upon loading press F2 or del to enter bios setup and change the settings to display the acer welcome screen and the one you said about Microsoft logo and white box with green lines, you cant by pass it because it's windows loading screen
Use the usb cable supplied with your digital camera and plug it into your computer. It then should automatically be detected and give you the option to transfer photos or videos to your computer. If this does not open check your My Computer for irremovable media drive. The memory card in the camera will show up as another driver letter open up then copy the photos or video from there to your computer.
The file your seeing of your pictures on your computer may just be a temporary folder where they are held, have you saved the folder to your computer ? Try that and see if it works. I had the same problem on XP, there is no indication that I saw saying it was a temporary file, drove me nuts for a while untill I figured it out. Hope that works, Matt
