Why am I getting a blank screen after login?

In case you are using Win OS try to start in save mode. First the Bios is activated after pushing the power button. If you see the screen from the Bios start pushing F8 which brings you to the save mode start up. When your PC starts you can shut it properly by leaving the save mode. Try to start up the pc again in normal mode. I hope it will fix you problem

Toshiba a135 laptop screen goes blank during battery use. Only way to recover is to put the laptop to sleep blinking orange and then restart. This action keeps the screen on. Could this be a bios problem?...

It's probably not a BIOS problem.

You should go to Control Panel --> Hardware and Sound --> Power Options --> Change plan settings --> change advanced plan settings.

Try configuring the setting for "Plugged in" and "On Battery" to be the same. That way your laptop won't go through wierd configurations when you unplug.

Try cleaning your computer with compressed air too.

My toshiba m35x-s111 laptop screen goes blank

According to the description of the fault and the symptoms that your equipment presents, you must replace the FL inverter, that is the one that gives the turn on of the screen of your equipment, if your you replace this piece that one finds behind of the mask of the screen in the low part and that is similar to a pen I assure you that your equipment it was working in perfect conditions
