Hp installation software

Every time i want to print a document i have to re-install my printer. Now the disc has been misplaced. What can i do ?

I experienced the same with a lap-top, it had a virus, I had to format it and re-install windows again.

Hp photosmart C7250 hangs while printing


Hi Georgette,

You have tried your best with possible troubleshooting to fix the issue. There are few possible workaround solution for this issue.

First, If the USB Cable is more than 3-5 ft long, it could be the reason. Also, if the USB Cable is worn out or is broken in-between.

2nd, The printer does not seems to accept command from PC ( win 7 ) using the HP Software. So Uninstall the Software. Restart the PC.

Do not install Printer Software. Connect the Printer USB to PC and Windows 7 will display new hardware detected message.

Continue with the New Hardware Found Wizard and install the drivers it will list by Default.

Try to print and it should work.

If this works, You will be able to print without any problems however if you want to scan a document, you need to use Applications like MS-Paint, Microsoft Word etc, or Use the Scanners and Camera option in Control panel.

You can then install the software disk of printer or the downloaded software from Hp website to install Printer software for SCanning.

If you do so, you will find 2 printer icons in Printers Folder. First one will be with WSD text ( this icon is created when you connect the printer using USB without installing the printer software ) and 2nd icon will be HP Photosmart C7200 All in One ( this will be the Software installed ) and this will be default icon with check mark.

Whenever you want to print from any application, You need to click on File - Print - choose the WSD icon to print.

I have a new laptop but i cant print it any document and my printer no hp laserjet 1018. so pls help me.


You need to uninstall the HP solution center and other HP printer software from add/remove programs or program and features, in your control pannel.

Disconnect the printer from the USB, use the disc which came with the printer or download the printer software/ driver from HP.com or click the link below.

Driver download link (after clicking the link select the operating system and click on next as shown in image below)

Install the driver/ software and follow on screen instruction, connect the printer when the software will ask.

Give a test page print.

Note: Uninstall the HP printer softwares before installing it again.

net stop spooler
net start spooler
repeat 34 times restart computer

MY PRINTER WON'T PRINT AND I CAN'T SCAN ANY-THING


You Need to install the full feature software for the printer ;
First uninstall the entire software from your computer
Unplug the USB cable;
Click on "Start" >>> Control panel >>> Add or Remove program >>> Select the HP printers software >>> CLick on remove to uninstall the printer software;
Restart the computer ;
Click on the below given link it will help you download the software :

Select your OS;
Select the Full feature Driver;
Click on Download ;
Save to your desktop;
and then run the software;
Then while installation select the "Recommended" option and install it;
Try to scan from "HP Solution Center".. "home"
Also try to print

Not communicating with PC


My wife being the computer whiz in our household managed to solve our problem by un-installing everything connected with the printer and re-installed some different software and started again from scratch. That's the power of perseverance I guess. Thanks.

Will you please help me install my HPdeskjet300 All in one. i need ur help and i given a printing command to my printer after 1 year . the printing ink is always missing on papper. pls help me to sort out my plm. i lost my cd to install my printer.i took some software frm internet but its not working. i'm using hp deskjet f380 all-in-one-printerfrm last 1 year. pls look into my plm & do the needfull work.

I need to add a HP office jet 6310 to my parents computer but they misplace the disc. Can this be done without the disc?
