How do i program my new uniden bearcat scanner? Don't quite understand the manual.
Problem for Agfa SnapScan E52 Flatbed Scanner

I can use the scanner from the direct on scanner buttons. However I cannot
use the scanner if I attempt to start from Xp ie Programs listing or desktop
icon! I upgraded the scanner driver from 1.7 to 2.0 with no success. I even
tried using a usb driver from www.usbman.com . The message is still the same
"a communication problem occurred"! I use other usb connections with no
problem ie Epson printer and Sandisk card reader.
Is there anyone out there with a solution to my problem - Agfa support have
not got one!
Would be gratefull for any assistance.

If you are getting a code 38 error in device manager for the Agfa scanner
the following work around should get you going.
Unplug the Agfa and the card reader usb connections. Replug the Agfa and it
should work ok. To coin a phrase " One PC, one Imaging device"
