My W880i won't access anything on the memory stick. If i try to directly access it, it says "Memory Stick not inserted". If i remove it and re-insert it, it says "Warning! All content on Memory Stick will be lost. Format anyway?" No matter which button i press, yes or no, nothing actuallly happens. Any advice?

your phone memory is full so delete som data from phone memory or transfer to it to the memory stick, if its not allowing you to do anything then try *7370#, but it will delete all the data from phone memory and take you phone to factory setting, your messages, phone book, notes all will be deleted but not the data from the memory card it will stay there
first u have to check that there is a memory stick inserted in ur phone or not by removing the battery cover and u can see the memory place if empty or not , if u have a memory inserted try to chech its direction and if it is truely inserted (remove it and reinsert it ) if still not working try check ur memory stick on another phone or by pc reader if memory stick working then ur problem in ur cellphone and need hardware repair , the mmc driver .
Hi there, This is a common problem and its quite easy to resolve.
I had a very similar problem with a friends nokia 5200 memory stick , it refused access to the card , i got the message disk is write protected I couldnt even access it from a PC card reader or format it . Somehow he had accidentally set a security code for the memory stick and the mobile then forgot he had done it , I tried the usual code of 1,2,3,4 and this didnt work. When I tried the number 1 on its own , suddenly I could access the memory stick again and format it and didnt get the message (disk is write protected)...Reset your P800 security codes with the master reset function in the main settings menu. This will remove any codes that restrict access to the memory stick...
