Only one speaker is working

How do I adjust the balance of the the speakers. The remote seems to allow me to do only a right or a left balance but not both.

I also have the same problem. in the begining both of the speakers were working now it's only one. it's not the balance setting either, i think i either blew something, but both of the speakers work when i switched the wires.

Receiver channel volume not identical

Remote controls normally do not adjust stereo volume levels independently, and I will assume that the problem is present on ALL input settings (tuner, CD, etc.). Check "balance" control settings, speakers and speaker wires for possible problems. Balance control at 12:00? Inspecting speaker wires and speakers do not reveal problems? Have you swapped speakers to see if problem reverses? Try this "process of elimination" and hopefully you'll ID the problem.

Are you sure you wired up the head unit correctly? It is fairly uncommon for a audio output amplifier to blow out leaving 3 working speakers and 1 not working. So more than likely it is bad wiring or a blown speaker. Best bet would be get a digital multimeter and ohm out the speaker and see if it has continuity and is the same as the adjacent speaker. You could also try swapping the left/right channel wiring and see if the front right speaker stops working when connected to the left speaker output or vice versa.
