HP mini wont turn on and power led blinking

A Power Reset will fix most things. Turn off the power at the breaker for a couple of hours. It resets the main board and all the relays.

How many times do the power LED blinks at once after switch on. Count it carefully. These blinks are fault indications, which can help you an idea about the faulty internal section circuit. If you wish to get more details about these blinking codes, check this link.

Remove ALL media, DVD, CD, USB, etc. Unplug, remove battery, plug in, reboot. Any change? If no, do a system restore /recovery. You didn't supply your HP mini Model number so I can't be presise.

Please check the battery charger. Otherwise, I had one of this HP Mini 1000 replaced by HP with the same problem, the Mini gone complete dead, no charging or turn on.

Chances are your phone got too hot during the night and overcharged the Lithium Ion battery. If those batteries are exposed to too much heat then they won't have the battery life they used to have. You need to purchase a replacement battery or contact your wireless carrier to see about getting another one.

Possibilities are inmense, first make sure that your power supply is working, remember that its what charge the whole thing up. if power supply is not giving the right voltage the the lithium battery is not charging. You may have to take it to your local computer shop yo check it

Looks like your power adaptor needs replacing if your getting no charge. Make sure the plugs are in tight and replace the fuse in the plug as well in case.

sounds like a dead battery. Plug the origional charger into it and the front led (below the flash) should flash red. If the red led in the back of the camera flashes or stays lit, then you have the wrong charger plugged in. (the camera won't power up if the back red/green led is on when plugged in)
