Question about Dell Inspiron 6000 Notebook
Hi. i've had my dell inspiron 6000 for 21/2 yrs and it's been acting up for about the last 6 months. i expected to last longer than this, am i right?
the problems i'm having is it freezes up alot, especially with the internet. it also freezes up whenever i'm trying to watch any video (ex on cnn or cbs). lastly, it started making a clicking noise last weekend. i looked this up on the internet and someone had posted a comment saying it's the hard drive trying to find a file and to run some "check" thing...which i did. it seems to have stopped but every now and then i'll hear a couple of clicks.
would appreciate any help here. you must have already figured out i'm not very techy so if you can dumb it down for me i'd appreciate it.
I would do a system defrag, disk clean up and do spyware checks using AVG/spybot just to clean you hard drive up a bit and see if that helps with the freezing
