Question about Dell Inspiron 1150 Notebook
I recently ordered a new battery for my dell laptop because the computer seemed not to be holding its charge, and would make a loud, rapid beeping sound whenever I tried to start it up. However, when I replaced the battery, the computer started up as normal and I saw the opening screen and then it went blank and the three indicator lights at the front of the computer started to flash. I have not been able to get it started since then.
1. Is this a problem that can be fixed if I bring the laptop into the store?
2. I desperately need to gain access to the data stored on the laptop, is there a way to transfer it onto an external hard drive before the problem is fixed?
3. Is it a virus?
