First you have to check where the oil type liquid came from. Because this oil may come from the power supply unit, if so change first the power supply unit. Second check if the electrolytic capacitor in *********** board has liquid oil in vicinity. Capacitor may leak if the temperature is over or voltage supply is over the withstand voltage rating of an capacitor. I recommend to try replacing the power supply unit. Good luck.

Problem in Samtron 45Bn Monitor

Try connecting the monitor to the mains instead of the UPS.
If it works OK then the problem maybe the UPS and that it is very close to the max output of the UPS.
If not then the monitor is faulty.

As I understand it, you tried to upgrade the CPU from 1.86GHz to a 3.00GHz. The error message is stating that the BIOS (Basic Input Output System) cannot recognise the CPU because it is not in the list of supported CPUs. You need to download an updated BIOS (if available) for the particular motherboard in your PC. You will need to get the model number of the motherboard which is usually written on the motherboard. Then go to this web site: http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/homeLenovo.do

Search for an updated bios for your motherboard. There should be instructions on how to update the bios.

When startup button is pressed fan runs and orange LED comes on for a second and then stops (have changed motherboard and tested with different PSU still not working).

Hello!

Try only motherboard, ram and CPU, without keyboard, mouse, grafik card, hard disk, cd or dvd rom. If you have one normal beep, you have trouble with some of another parts.

If you still have a problem try motherboard, another ram and CPU.
If you still have a problem, than you have trouble with CPU.

Intel D865PERLL Motherboard will not power up

Hi nkda2000, this is as close as I could find for power schematics. Intel D865PERL
http://support.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/D865PERL/sb/CS-027143.htm

(There is no Intel D865PERLL board). Sure it's a typo. Have done searches for D865PERLL & found it (Not on Intle's web site) but when looking at the specs it's listed as D865PERL. (One L ) not two.

I hope the Technical Product Specification pdf can help you check the power on the motherboard.

Luck!
