Is audio out on all sources? Check mute button on remote. Check audio in tv menu. connect audio out of tv to external amp. Like the aux in of your stereo receiver. If you have sound there then next remove and test speakers. touch wires of speaker to a aa battery.Be sure wies are disconnected from main board. Speaker make no sound then replace them . If speakers pop then replace main board. or board that has audio amp ic on it.
first thing is,check its not muted or output is selected for added surround sound, second may need to open back of tv see all wires are connected to the speakers and board.first explore all your menu options for muted sound or output
First of check that is the MUTE is on or not. Press the mute button on the remote to cahne the setting of mute.
the also the problem remains. you tvs speaker or the audio output ic have some problem. first of all check the speaker. Is it ok or not. for checking the same u have to open the tv. if you can then,
Remove the rare cover of your tv. find out the position of the speakers. remove the speaker connection from the board. It will be a socket you can easily remove it by pulling it.
Then take a 1.5V cell. The speaker will have to connectors from which the wire is connected. connect cell between it, if you hear a small cracking sound from the speaker the it is ok if not the speaker is faulty.
if the speaker is ok the the audio out put ic (integreted circuit ) will be faulty. u can see the audio output ic near the speaker socket from where you have pullout the wire. check the number noted in its top and bring a new one and replace it . for removing and replacing the audio output ic you should have soldering iron , de soldering pump and solder.
Try to switch the audio option in the menu of your tv from TV speakers to Audio speakers (or whatever yours might say) I don't know your TV make and model, or if you have a surround sound system but since you are connecting it, I'm guessing it's fairly new, so it should have that option in the menu. Make sure the volume on the sound system is not muted (my husband actually did that the other day) and that the wires that go to the back of the speakers are in the correct position. +to the + etc. Hope that helps. Good luck :)
It's the internal circuitry problem. Try muting it and put audio connection to other speakers if it repeats, your TV audio system is internally dying.the audio connections has to be checked and faulty components should be replaced. 1. Speaker short. Open it up and check the speaker connections. ONLY if you have basic skills working on electronics and don't have a warranty. 2. Sound Volume "Leveler" Look in your sound option menu for a sound "balancer" option and turn it off. If this doesn't work disable the sound and invest in that surround sound system (external speakers solution of your choice) ----------- try this.for first unplug the main power cord of the tv for couple of minutes and then reconnect it.also before reconnecting the power cord of the tv again remove all the external device wires connected at its back such as dvd player/vcr etc etc.just connect only tv wire and check out.if still the same problem then its quite possible that the capacitors and ic on the audio circuit board are getting short in between so the circuit is not getting completed and cutting in between so the tv starts and turns off. if the tv is connected to externalk speakers then check out without connecting the external speakers and see whether it works.if it works that means tv is perfect.but if tv is having inbuilt speakers that its confirm problem with inter audio circuit of tv.so try connecting external speakers at the back of tv and check out. -------------- This will help. Thanks please keep updated.please do rate the solution positively .thank you for using fixya.
you can go to your menu and select the test tone just to see if your speakers are operational, if not replace the speaker. If you have test tone, then check your input connections. If everything is connected correctly then you need to replace your main board and that should resolve the problem.
