Normally , you would expect the TV sound to stop when headphones are plugged in. Obviously not in this case. If you have a set of headphones, try them and see if the TV still has speakers on. If it does, then there may be a setting on the setup of the TV to get headphones to work. If the TV speakers stop, then I would think that the Logitech are not compatible with the TV. The only other thing would be is to get into the TV and disconnect the TV,s own speakers. If the wires are soldered on and not terminal connected, carefully cut 1 of the wires off near the speaker. If 1 wire is cut, the speaker wont work. Make sure both the TV and the additional speakers (If they have their own power supply) you are using are unplugged from the power before you go doing this...!
Is audio out on all sources? Check mute button on remote. Check audio in tv menu. connect audio out of tv to external amp. Like the aux in of your stereo receiver. If you have sound there then next remove and test speakers. touch wires of speaker to a aa battery.Be sure wies are disconnected from main board. Speaker make no sound then replace them . If speakers pop then replace main board. or board that has audio amp ic on it.
hi,its possible the internal stereo amp has packed up or someones blown the speakers by playing it too loud,or as above ,check the mute button first. if its not the mute button, get an old speaker off a house stereo and connect the wires to where the car speaker is connect and see if get any sound, this way you will know wether the stereos working or not,if you get sound, then its a speaker problem, thanks for using fix ya
Does it light up? Does it have a mute button? Does it have a mute wire for in vehicle phone systems? If so, it may need to be grounded to take it out of mute, or it may need to go to 12 volts + It depends on how the circuit was designed.
If those check out, or it lights up but no muting make sure the speakers are connected to the correct wires. Also check to make sure the speakers are not grounded. Two wires should go to each speaker. you can check the condition of the speakers with a 9 volt battery touched across the leads, you will hear a pop sound. make sure those two wires for each speaker are connected to the radio correctly.
hi,
First of check that is the MUTE is on or not. Press the mute button on the remote to cahne the setting of mute.
the also the problem remains. you tvs speaker or the audio output ic have some problem. first of all check the speaker. Is it ok or not. for checking the same u have to open the tv. if you can then,
Remove the rare cover of your tv. find out the position of the speakers. remove the speaker connection from the board. It will be a socket you can easily remove it by pulling it.
Then take a 1.5V cell. The speaker will have to connectors from which the wire is connected. connect cell between it, if you hear a small cracking sound from the speaker the it is ok if not the speaker is faulty.
if the speaker is ok the the audio out put ic (integreted circuit ) will be faulty. u can see the audio output ic near the speaker socket from where you have pullout the wire. check the number noted in its top and bring a new one and replace it . for removing and replacing the audio output ic you should have soldering iron , de soldering pump and solder.
ok
Have you checked on the PC that its not muted.? There is normally an icon at the bottom of the screen which looks like a speaker if you right click on it, it will give an option to open the volume controls. Check this to see if sounds have been muted.
