Hi, when did this problem first occur? I would suggest checking with the email service provider to see if they have updated any of their IMAP / POP settings that you also would therefore ve required to update, also verify your password is correct etc. would you like me to help with this?
You can use RecoveryFix for Outlook Express recovery software which is capable to recover permanently deleted, highly encrypted and compressed emails of an Outlook Express mailbox. User can easily download the trial version of DBX recovery utility from here http://www.outlookexpressrepair.net/
Were you able to send emails (in Outlook) prior to the installation of the D-Link AirPlus DI-524?
If yes, this error message tells us that the remote server
has rejected your email/message due to your host not being on a list of
servers able to send the destination server mail. You will need to
contact the remote server administrator for assistance with this issue.
This error has nothing to do with D-Link, it is a problem with
the remote host.
If no likewise, then your ISP has blocked port 25 (which is being used by Outlook for outgoing). You need to get in touch with your ISP and verify if this is the case or if you need to switch to port 26 or 587 or something else.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
Sounds like it's self explanatory. Perhaps Hotmail is no longer free for Outlook Express. If you would like to use Outlook Express as your defautl email client and use a POP3 based email account, may I refer you to www.hotpop.com? You can apply for a free POP3 email account which you can set up to run with your Outlook Express. You may also want to check into www.gmail.com. They support web based inboxes as well as POP3 configuration for your Outlook Express.
if you are trying to send an email from an old isp mail account, using a different isp email connection; you have to change the mail.smtp settings, for the settings you will need to refer to your isp.
If you are trying to send an email using a hotmail account, this can no longer be done as hotmail no longer allow the use of outlook express with their accounts
