Who told you that? :-)
The 'Internet Drivers' would be TCP/IP, etc.
But they are an integral part of Windows XP

You may need the drivers for your Modem to connect through Windows. If it's connected by USB, then you may need those drivers.

The important question you need to answer is:
'How are you trying to connect to the Internet?'
Do you have and Internet Service Provider?
Did they give you a Modem/Router/AP? (*The box* )

Do you connect with cord or cordless
(USB or Ethernet if corded)

Unfortunately you need to answer these questions, because what you've been told, makes no sense.....
e.g. Windows IS your Operating System
& The Internet does not have drivers per se

I'll be glad to help if you answer those basic 'how you connect' questions
