Internet Connection - Operating System drivers for WinXP (Packard Bell EasyNote E2310)

Hullo Management,
i have a Packard Bell Laptop that is failing to access internet connections. I've been told that it lacks the internet drivers or the Operating System for Windows XP.
Its Model is: MIT-LYN02
Type: EasyNote E2310
And that it lacks the Network Controller and Modem Settings. Could you humbly advice me on where to download all its internet connection settings?
Thanks alot in advance and for making ICT simpler to use and understand.

    Thats just silly.
    Who told you that? :-)
The 'Internet Drivers' would be TCP/IP, etc.
But they are an integral part of Windows XP

You may need the drivers for your Modem to connect through Windows. If it's connected by USB, then you may need those drivers.

The important question you need to answer is:
'How are you trying to connect to the Internet?'
Do you have and Internet Service Provider?
Did they give you a Modem/Router/AP? (*The box* )

Do you connect with cord or cordless
    (USB or Ethernet if corded)

Unfortunately you need to answer these questions, because what you've been told, makes no sense.....
e.g. Windows IS your Operating System
& The Internet does not have drivers per se

I'll be glad to help if you answer those basic 'how you connect' questions

You have to install the original windows in able to perform the computer well and to work the driver properly, sometimes if you install the pirated xp windows the driver wont work properly specially the wireless network.
you can find the driver thru the internet dell website.

Cannot connect to the internet. When I open the device manager, in the 'other device' drop down menu, Ethernet controller was missing. My laptop was Packard Bell easynot NJ65

Hi erolisgarrot,

Welcome to FixYa! How are you doing?

You did not specify the operating system on your Packard Bell easynot NJ65 (whether Windows Vista or Windows 7).

Anyways, PLEASE CLICK HERE to find the Ethernet Controller driver.

Please select Notebook > Easynote > EN NJ65 > select the appropriate Operating System then look for Lan.

Hope that helps. Please let me know if you have questions. Thank you for using FixYa!

Click on the link that i have provided below for Packard Bell support. Click on Notebooks, then Easynote and next choose your model. It will start with EN and then your Model number.
From there you will be able to download all the drivers and utilities for the laptop providing that your operating system is windows 7 as this is the only supported. They may however work with Vista.
