Hi, carbio began flashing the F1 error code at 18 months. I have to hit
the pause/start 4 or 5 times to get the cycle to begin. It also flashes
occasionally at the rinse cycle (17 min.) I have called Whirlpool 3
times with little satisfaction. They have offered to pay for the part,
but I will be responsible for the service call, diagnostic fee, and
labor. I am not satisfied with this offer. It is obvious to me with so
many others experiencing the same problem that Whirlpool has a quality
issue with this machine. The sales rep who sold me the machine said to
call Whirlpool everyday until they are sick of hearing from me. The
more calls logged about the complaint, the better chance of a recall on
the machine.
We have started a petition to be sent to the CEO of Whirlpool Corp., Jeff Fettit.
