Replaced icemaker and optics but icemaker still does not work.

Are you getting water to the valve and the valve is OK. It copuld be water has frozen in the fill tube to the icemaker.

Ice maker has stopped working

IT is either your inlet valve which is cheaper than replacing the icemaker, when you replace it(located behind panel on back of fridge) make sure you do not have ice build-up in the water tube behind icemaker. If that does not work than you will have to replace icemaker. If you take a flathead screwdriver and pop the cover off of your icemaker you will either have a screw that you can manually turn to test the icemaker to see if it is working. There is one you can do this with, the other one you would need an icemaker tester that most tech's have. Good luck!

The icemaker will not work

you might need to replace the icemaker or the freezer isnt getting cold enough for the icemaker to operate correctly. if freezer isnt getting cold enought for icemaker to operate correctly you should probably have it checked by a tech. if the icemaker isnt taking water you also could have a bad water valve

Amana side by side icemaker stopped working

The icemaker is not working because the water pressure is too low. An icemaker is controlled by a timer so it has no idea how much water is in it. The water valve gets energized for about 7 seconds letting water in the icemaker, but if there is no water pressure then the icemaker will not fill.

No ice

You need to test the dual water control valve on rear of refrigerator with and ohm meter. Disconnect both sides from the power connections at the control valves. Test each coil with an ohm meter. You should get the same or close to the same reading on both coils. Let me know what your model number is and I will be able to tell you the part numbers, Thanks, Sea Breeze

There is water to icemaker but it does not make ice.

Check if the icemaker inlet valve is opening and if the icemaker solenoid is working.

If the icemaker has a filter also replace the filter.

A loud intermitant buzzing coming from the back of the fridge

either the noise is coming form he ice maker fill valve( but if its of and still aking noise i doubt it. it also possible that the noise is coming from the compressor itself, overheating nad trying to restart in which case would give a slight "buzz" noise for 5secs or so then "click" off, and wait maybe 3 min to restart again. look for melted ice andperhaps your ice dream ont as hard as it should be???

My LG fridge

It isn't the insulation or the tubing. It is a design flaw in the icemaker heater. Your heater is kaput and the heater fan probably is as well. LGE does not have a fix. They can only replace the heater and fan, and then wait for it to blow out again.
